Maryland Tech Invitational
The mission of the Maryland Tech Invitational (MTI) is to bring together FIRST® Tech Challenge teams from the region, nation and around the world who have demonstrated excellence in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) for a high quality competitive off-season tournament.
Do you know why the MTI logo features a vortex? It's to commemorate the fact that the first MTI competition was during the Velocity Vortex challenge. The tag line "It is About the Robots" highlights the MTI's exclusive focus on TECH to set it apart from a regular season competition.
